Shipping and Delivery

 Your order will be dispatched the same day (excluding weekends & bank holidays) if ordered before 2pm. Shipping is via Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery and will need to be signed for. You will receive an email when your order from us has been dispatched with your tracking number.  Items sent on Friday are likely to arrive on Saturday, but are not guaranteed until Monday.

All items are sent in the highest of quality packaging materials to ensure that they arrive to you safely.

Delivery is free for all UK orders using Royal Mail first class recorded delivery. This service aims to deliver items in 1-2 working days. Optionally, if you want guaranteed next day delivery, we can send your item Royal Mail Special Delivery by 1pm, for an additional charge.

Missed Deliveries 

If you are not in to receive the delivery at the time the delivery is attempted, Royal Mail will leave you a missed delivery card. This will allow you to collect it from your local sorting office. Sometimes they don’t always leave a card so please check with them first if you have not received your item, to see if they have your package. Due to security reasons, all items sent by recorded delivery require a signature.

If for any reason the item is returned to us, for example if the item was not called for, then we will inform you immediately by email.  We can then either re-dispatch the item or cancel the order if you wish.  

Late deliveries

Unfortunately, it may occur that there is a delay with your item reaching you if the delivery service has a problem but this is beyond our control.  In these situations, Hip Watches will do our best to take responsibility for the situation and ensure that your order reaches you as quickly as possible. If a delivery is late, e.g. the postal service fails to deliver within the guaranteed timescale that the service specifies, then we will provide a refund of any delivery charges that were charged to you but we do not provide financial compensation to cover consequential losses, e.g. the item is intended as a gift, and you purchase the same item from a more expensive retailer.  

Lost Deliveries

Hip Watches use Royal Mail to ship all our items. However, there may be rare cases where parcels do not arrive in the agreed timescale or they are lost completely.

Hip Watches will always try to ensure that the item is delivered to you as soon as possible by contacting Royal Mail to try to locate your parcel and have it delivered. You can also contact them yourself with your tracking number.

In the case of lost items, we cannot refund orders or send out a replacement until the delivery is confirmed to be lost by Royal Mail, in case it has just been delayed. The time periods at which items can be confirmed lost are:

  • Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery & Special Delivery: 10 working days
  • Royal Mail International Delivery: 21 working days

International deliveries

For international orders we use Royal Mail’s International Tracked delivery service. Global Mail deliveries take 3-5 working days within Europe, and 5-7 working days for the rest of the world.
